SECC goodies

I went to the SECC Hobbycrafts show in Friday afternoon. It was very quiet, which for me was good, but not for the sellers that were there.
I got Persian Accents and Motifs,  Labels 20 and Fancy Tags Three from Oyster Stamps.
I also picked up Corner Bow from Memory Box (can't remember what stall it was), in addition I got 5 stamps from LOTV.  They were Dainty Dancing, Grunge Letter, Patchwork Present,  It's My Party and Present Trio.
I also got three Inkyliscious stamps, Always Remember,  Make a Wish and Scatter Seeds.
From every crafts a pound I got grey chipboard hearts, tags, and a large banner.
I went back on Sunday (using free return) as I still had some money left and bought the kindness set of Just Right stamps for Labels 20 and Marvellous Squares from Spellbinders.
Haven't photographed them as I forgot!
However, I had a play and made this wee card.

Hope you had a good weekend.
Not much other crafting done as been too busy with life - it's a pest when all you want to do is have a play and you don't get a minute!

  1. Ooh hi Alison, great booty. I bet the show was fun. Quiet sounds ideal. JT and I went to one last year that was basically so busy, you couldn't get to any of the stalls for at least the first 2hrs!!! Hope you had a nice Mother's Day. Cx

  3. Hi Alison
What a lovely lot of crafting stash I can see hours of fun there. It doesn't sound good if the craft trade fairs are quiet as the sellers are really going to feel the pinch.
You have made a cracking card I love the way you have turned the die cuts to give it extra interest.
That set is fantastic, it is one of my newer ones. So far I have managed to get 25 different cuts from it I would love to know how many you have found?
Hope you have had a lovely Mothers Day

  4. Hey Alison, glad you enjoyed the fair! I loved it! We went Friday too and were there about 10.30am - it was quiet all day - we had my wee nephew with us and knowing how it has been in previous years, we didn't bring a pram and he was carried in a sling all day - we could have had a pram... with room for stash underneath! lol

I loved the 'everycraftsapound' stand - i bought every shade of card candi they had!!! and some chipboard!

Love the card you've made! I bought some Gorjuss papers and desperate to have a go but like you, other stuff to be doing before me time/play time! Hope you're having a great weekend. Mo xxx
