WOYWW

Hello everyone,
Thanks for all your visits last week. I had a lovely journey around the crafty desks of the world. It's all the fault of Julia over at The Stamping Ground.  Four years ago she started showing her desk to some blogging friends and now hundreds of messy crafters display their desks to the world.
I finished the wreath I started last week.  There's a picture at the bottom. Though, after canvassing opinion, I will be adding a bit of glitter to it.
As for my desk, you lot are a bad influence on me, I am ashamed to admit to not tidying my desk after a session!!!! Still should be better next week I hope.
Photo, this week from another side, of my omnipresent tea mug and pot. I can't function without it (though it's decaf tea) the file trays contain papers and tear outs from magazines that I wish to attempt sometime. It's a never decreasing pile.
The other photo is of my plans for a card that I want to enter into this weeks LOTV challenge if I get it done!

  8. looks like you have enough tea there that I could pop over to join you. I also tear pages out of my magazines of projects that I would like to try some time, I stick mine in to an A4 book just so happens that it has Winnie the Pooh on it to match my stamp index folder. I even have him tattooed on my right ankle.
Your wreath really did turn out great I think a little glitter will just get it ready for Christmas this year.
Like those papers you are about to use I shall be keeping an eye on what they become
Happy WOYWW hope you have a great day

  10. Hi Alison, a bad influence, moi! Surely not :) I have a box of good intentions - all needing sorted out into the various notebooks I keep for good ideas - not to mention a couple of magazine boxes full of Craft Stamper and Scrapbook magazines that I can't bring myself to throw away, so you're not the only one with a never decreasing pile. The wreath is looking good - will look gorgeous with glitter. I'd be tempted to add some gold rub n buff around the edges too - you can never have too much shine at Christmas. Have a great WOYWW. 12. You have a very neat messy desk Alison. You should see mine while I am working! I love the papers for your next project, and I still think that wreath is gorgeous, with or without glitter! Elizabeth's idea of gold rub n buff sounds like it might be pretty as well. It would brighten the wreath and give it a whole different look.

  20. Awesome wreath. I think glitter would be nice but it would depend if you are going for a more spartan look like the Shaker or early pioneer look. I love sparkle and have been known to glitter everything. Hope you have a great week! Thanks for visiting my desk and leaving such a nice comment and also for sharing with us! Vickie #41

  22. Hi Alison, Well your desk is so tidy and organised! Yes, do put some "bling" (or glitter) on the wreath, I think that will just give it the finishing touch :)
Thanks for stopping by! Glad you enjoyed the Seven Wonders ... just some more trivia to fill the space in my head :)!
    Happy late WOYWW!

  26. A pot of tea as well as a mug, that's definitely a cut above my ever present luke warm cuppa. Maybe that's what i need to actually get a hot cuppa when i'm crafting. Love it.
