Anniversary

|Hello again folks,
Hope your Saturday is going well.
I am knackered!
Ellie stayed last night,  so far so normal.
However,  Stevie (hubby) was at a leaving do in Edinburgh and Emma was working till 9.30. It's a hard job dealing with 2 year old trouble maker alone!
Goodness knows how I used to manage when our kids were all small. Add potty training for the second day to the mix and you can imagine. She was good as gold ;-)
Her Granda, however, was not. Got a call at 11.30, can you come get me at the station - so to build up my wonderful wife points I did (cos Ellie was sleeping and Emma was in).Result- extra spends for the SECC!!!!
I can't wait now.
I made this card for my parents,  they are 49 years married in April. I think the wee couple look like them (don't tell them!)
The image and sentiment are from Ladybugcrafts Ink - The Wrinklies
The paper is Kaiserecraft Hey Birdie
Thanks for looking and please leave any comments you may have.

I want to enter this card into the following challenges

Ladybugcrafts Ink - Pink plus a colour
Charizma Cardz - Anything goes
Moving along with the Times - Love is in the air
By Lori Designs - Use a sentiment

  6. Taking care of grandchildren is tough sometimes. We went out and took care of ours several times. A couple of years ago, it was for a whole month, and they were 1, 4 and 6. That was tough!

Your card is really cute, but I hope I don't look like that in seven years from now, when I will have been married for 49 years!!! LOL

  21. Love the card for your folks. The backing paper is really, really nice. The sentiment is so neat...please tell me it's a stamp, if you say you wrote it by hand I will weep and no longer visit..due to handwriting envy :) Cx

    1. It's a stamp - you can get it from Ladybugcrafts Ink.
I couldn't handwrite it - my own script looks like a spider crawled over an inkpad then across the paper LOL
